  • Homeschool Program | SFCS

SFCS Homeschool Program Flexible Learning. Personalized Support. Strong School Connection. The SFCS Homeschool Program provides families with a supportive, flexible education option for students in Transitional Kindergarten through 8th grade. It is designed to give families autonomy while at the same time allowing students to stay connected to the school community. Our program allows learning to take place entirely at home with the guidance of an experienced homeschool coordinator. Families meet with the homeschool coordinator every 20 school days, which works out to be approximately once per month . These meetings are typically held on the SFCS campus, with a Zoom option available when needed. During each session, monthly goals are established for every subject area, student work samples are reviewed, and files are updated to support ongoing progress and documentation. While SFCS can offer curriculum for all subject areas, giving families access to high-quality learning materials, the program also provides the flexibility to adjust or supplement curriculum choices to best match the needs and learning styles of individual students. Homeschool students who are current on state-required immunizations are invited to join classmates for enrichment activities on campus. Opportunities may include time in the Learning Garden, Fun Fridays, and participation in school field trips, helping students maintain meaningful connections with their peers and the broader SFCS community. While families receive ongoing support, resources, and guidance from the homeschool coordinator, all instruction is delivered at home . This structure ensures that parents remain the primary educators while benefiting from the expertise and partnership of SFCS. Please don't hesitate to reach out to us If you are interested in our program!
